The SE4540PDD is a high speed and highly sensitive PIN photodiode. It is a surface mount device (SMD) including the chip with a large sensitive area and a daylight blocking filter matched with IR emitters operating at wavelength 870 nm or 940 nm.

It is used in various application scenarios, such as electrical remote control, and other infrared system testing and control systems.
